Tasting Lobetia Chardonnay

Name: Lobetia
Variety: Chardonnay
Region: La Manca
Country:
Spain
Year: 2011
Price: $10.95
The Vintage Cellar Review: Organically and naturally grown and made, this wine allows the varietal and the terroir to stand out cleanly.  Clean, bright color with a greenish-yellow tone.  On the nose, exotic fruits like pineapple.  Full flavored, fresh, with good acidity in the mouth, it finishes with tropical fruits.
My Review: This smell is a little earthier than the first fruity wine (the Trattoria Busa Alla Torre Da Lele).  It seems much more pungent and mineral.  At first it seems really sweet, but then it finishes with a hint of bitterness, but I still feel that it has a nice balance.  I do sense the tropical fruit in the wine but it seems overripe fruit rather than fresh and crisp fruit.
