The Vintage Cellar
Review: Made predominantly from Paso Robles grapes, the wine is full-bodied
and silky yet robust, with aromas of black cherry and plum and a palate of
blackberry, raspberry and blueberry jam laced with vanilla and toast.
My Review: This has more aroma than the other two wines I tried today, but it’s
very hard to put my finger on what exactly those smells are. Maybe some vanilla, flowers, fruits, jelly,
and delicate flowers like honeysuckles.
I’m a little surprised by the delicate fragile taste because of the complex
smell. The flavor is pretty simple, it’s
oaky and dry yet pleasant.
