Tasting Wilson Daniels Sauvignon Blanc

Name: Wilson Daniels

Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Region: Central Coast, California
Country: USA
Year: 2010
Price: $7.95
The Vintage Cellar Review: Orange blossom and citrus permeate the aromas.  Alluring flavors of orange and grapefruit dominate the palate.  Bright acidity balances the plush mouth feel, resulting in a clean finish.
My Review: Smells of apples and oranges are strong from this wine, and it definitely does taste of the apples.  There is a hint of pear in the flavor and some bitterness on the swallow.  The first sip on the tip of the tongue feels like water, and the last taste is bitter; however, the middle is a pleasant and complex fruity combination which almost lives up to the smell.
